The key to cooking cabbage: Don't overcook it!

Cabbage is sweet and aromatic when cooked correctly. But the same sulfuric compounds that provide many of its health benefits can turn saboteur when overcooked, creating a pungent, unpleasant smell.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt to taste

Steps

  1. Saute onion and garlic is pan over med heat for 10 minutes
  2. Stir in cabbage and cook another 10 minutes
  3. Season with salt to taste
