The key to cooking cabbage: Don't overcook it!
Cabbage is sweet and aromatic when cooked correctly. But the same sulfuric compounds that provide many of its health benefits can turn saboteur when overcooked, creating a pungent, unpleasant smell.
Ingredients
- 1 large head of cabbage
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt to taste
Steps
- Saute onion and garlic is pan over med heat for 10 minutes
- Stir in cabbage and cook another 10 minutes
- Season with salt to taste
